Granite VNA Voted Tops in "Cappies"

Readers of the Concord Monitor have recognized Granite VNA as the best home health care provider in the Capital region. The agency received the most votes in the news organization’s annual “Cappies” awards. This year marks the home health care category’s inaugural appearance on the award ballot.

Introduced in 2009, the Concord Monitor’s annual “Cappies” competition invites readers to nominate and vote for local organizations and businesses that make a difference in their communities.

“We are very proud to be recognized by community members for our service to the people of the greater Concord area,” said Granite VNA President/CEO Beth Slepian, MBA, PT. “Our agency was founded in Concord nearly 125 years ago, when our nurses traveled by bicycle to see patients. Although times and technology have changed and our agency has grown since then, we continue to be honored to serve and care for our Capital region neighbors.”

Granite VNA provides home health and hospice care, palliative care, pediatric and maternal health services and community wellness programs to people of all ages throughout 82 New Hampshire communities.

This year, The Concord Monitor readers nominated 745 Concord organizations and businesses in 151 categories for the Cappies awards. Winners were announced by the paper July 20.
