    Granite VNA Marks 125th Anniversary in 2024

    In 1899, Concord District Nursing Association was formed to serve the health needs of underserved residents of Concord, New Hampshire. Now known as Granite VNA, the agency has grown to become New Hampshire’s largest not-for-profit home health and hospice provider, and 2024 marks its 125th anniversary.

    President/CEO Appointed to NAHC/NHPCO Transition Board of Directors

    Granite VNA President/CEO Beth Slepian, MBA, PT, has been named to a Transition Board of Directors that will oversee the consolidation of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) and the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). The two national organizations have entered an agreement to combine to create a stronger advocate for the care-at-home community and drive quality patient outcomes.

    Annual "Lights, Life and Memories Campaign Generates Over $57,000 to Support Hospice Services

    Not-for-profit home health and hospice agency Granite VNA raised more than $57,000 during its annual Lights, Life and Memories campaign to support hospice services for residents in 82 New Hampshire communities. More than 130 area businesses and nearly 500 individuals generously supported the campaign, which concluded in December with four community remembrance ceremonies.

    Granite VNA, was recently honored by Granite State Independent Living (GSIL) with the 2023 Community Partner award for its dedicated service to patients and families within the community. Granite VNA was recognized at GSIL’s recent annual dinner and awards night in Concord, New Hampshire.
