In this role, she will oversee team member recruitment and experience, including developing, implementing, and evaluating ongoing human resource programs and initiatives to support employee engagement and retention.

Holidays are often steeped in traditions, celebrations, and social gatherings and bereaved often feel a sense of dread as they anticipate these days and the absence of their special person(s) and the energy it may take to get through the season.

November is National Home Care and Hospice Month, and Granite VNA invites the public to a special screening of the award-winning film “Defining Hope,” a moving documentary that follows people with life-threatening illness as they make choices about how they want to live, how much medical technology they can accept, what they hope for and how that hope evolves when life is threatened.

Granite VNA has named Kris Green, MS, RN, vice president of hospice. Green will oversee operational management of the agency’s hospice services, comprising home hospice throughout 82 New Hampshire communities and Hospice House in Concord. She will also collaborate with the Capital Region Palliative Care team to help patients access these services.
