    Advanced Illness Management Program Update

    Carol Sackett, a certified hospice and palliative care nurse, is our new Advanced Illness Management (AIM) Program Coordinator and Davis Richmond, a licensed independent clinical social worker, is the new AIM Medical Social Worker. Carol is also board certified in pain management.

    Granite VNA Seeks Hospice Volunteers

    CONCORD, N.H. – Granite VNA is seeking volunteers for kitchen assistance, companionship and respite, as well as Reiki/Massage Therapists and hair stylists, to offer support to hospice patients in the Concord, Laconia, and Wolfeboro areas. The next eight-week training session is a combination of virtual and in-person meetings on Wednesdays starting September 15 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Granite VNA, 30 Pillsbury Street in Concord.

    Granite VNA Names Chief Medical Officer

    CONCORD, N.H. – Granite VNA, formerly Concord Regional VNA and Central NH VNA & Hospice, has named Christopher Allen, MD, MPH, as its first Chief Medical Officer (CMO). In this new role, Dr. Allen will supervise our provider team, support the agency’s strategic initiatives and operations, and will collaborate with Capital Region Palliative Care. He will spend a portion of his time as a practicing physician.
