    Granite VNA Names Shaz Anwar, DO, Hospice Medical Director

    Granite VNA has named Shaz Anwar, DO, Hospice Medical Director. In this role, Dr. Anwar will work collaboratively with Dr. Christopher Allen, Chief Medical Officer, and the agency’s hospice team to provide the best possible care to patients receiving hospice in their own homes and at Hospice House. He will oversee the agency’s hospice medical services, and provide clinical support and education for staff.

    Granite VNA Awards Scholarships to Three Employees to Support Continuing Education and Professional Growth

    Granite VNA recently awarded three employees with scholarships to further their clinical skills and credentials. The Granite VNA employee scholarships are awarded annually and are supported by endowed funds that have been designated by agency supporters. Employees who wish to be considered for the scholarships must apply and applications are evaluated by a selection committee based on specific criteria.
