SUMMARY:Basic Volunteer Training - Concord
DESCRIPTION:Granite VNA Office – Concord\, 30 Pillsbury Street\, Concord \nOur basic volunteer training is a two-hour program that prepares volunteers for opportunities such as serving as a Hospice House Greeter\, assisting in the Hospice House kitchen\, providing general office support\, and helping with community wellness programs including “A Matter of Balance.” \nParticipants need to attend only one of the following training sessions: \n\nFriday\, Nov. 13\, 9:30-11:30 a.m.\nSaturday\, Nov. 14\, 10 a.m.-Noon\nWednesday\, Nov. 18\, 5:30-7:30 p.m.\n\nVolunteers will be required to complete a background screening and tuberculosis (TB) test before beginning volunteer service.
