Our agency is reimagining its wellness programs for a virtual setting as Granite Staters continue to practice social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic. Existing programming on topics related to aging, caregiver support and education, and bereavement, have been adjusted to accommodate virtual gatherings.
Current Virtual Programming Includes:
Newly Bereaved Support Sessions are being held on the third Tuesday of each month. Participants learn tools for coping with some of the debilitating physical and emotional aspects of the grieving process and are welcome to share their experiences. Pre-registration is required. Walk-In Wednesday, held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, gives community members an opportunity to connect with a social worker/notary public to discuss topics such as advance directives, Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare and/or Living Wills, and community resources. Physical Activity and Exercise as We Age on April 28
Caregiver Connection is an opportunity for family caregivers to support one another and connect with our staff professionals. The program is Friday, April 23. Pre-registration is required.
Don't let the fear of falling limit your activities. "A Matter of Balance - Virtual Translation" is held on Thursdays beginning May 6 from 10 a.m. to Noon. Pre-registration is required.
The Aging Mastery Program® is a comprehensive and fun approach to living that celebrates the gift of longevity. The next program is on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and begins May 11. Pre-registration is required.
