Horseshoe Pond Place Senior Resource Center, 26 Commercial Street, Concord
Falls can lead to moderate to severe injuries, such as hip fractures, head traumas, and even increases the risk of early death. Fortunately, falls do not need to be accepted as a natural part of aging and are largely preventable. Join Community Health Educator, Kelli Anaya, to explore common factors that can lead to falls and simple steps you can take to minimize the risk.

Bow Mills United Methodist Church, 505 South Street
A monthly support group at 5:30 p.m. for parents who have suffered the death of a child at any age due to any circumstance and whether the loss was recent or some time ago. Parents are encouraged to come individually or with partners, spouses, or co-parents, to connect and journey toward healing alongside other bereaved parent figures who are on this path of grief – to listen, to share, to remember, and to give and receive support.
