Granite VNA Promotes Cindy Bergeron, RN, BSN, to Senior Director of Home Care

Granite VNA has promoted Cindy Bergeron, RN, BSN, to Senior Director of Home Care. She has served as one of the agency’s home care directors since 2021.

In this newly created leadership role, Bergeron will help drive the success of the agency’s home care program by identifying areas of opportunity for growth, improvement and care delivery throughout its service territory, while also managing collaboration with members of the hospice program. She will also continue to serve as clinical director for the home care south team, which comprises 21 nurses, 30 therapists, one social worker, and one speech language pathologist serving 21 communities.

“In nearly 20 years with our agency, Cindy has served in various roles, and the common thread across all of them has been her sincere and unwavering commitment to serving our patients and leading staff with professionalism and grace,” said Granite VNA President and CEO Beth Slepian. “Cindy is a natural choice for this new leadership role, and I have the utmost confidence in her ability to lead our Home Care program into the future.”

Since joining Granite VNA in 2004, Bergeron has served in various roles, including case manager, weekend clinical triage nurse, paraprofessional clinical manager, director of paraprofessional services, and, since 2021 as home care director.

“I appreciate the many opportunities for professional and personal growth that Granite VNA has provided to me over the years, and I am honored to take on this new leadership role,” said Bergeron. “Care at home is the future of healthcare, and I am confident that Granite VNA will be at the forefront of creating innovative programs and services to meet community needs long into the future.”

Bergeron was honored with Granite VNA’s inaugural “Living Our Values” award in 2019 for embodying the agency’s core values of respect, compassion, excellence, leadership and stewardship in her interactions with peers and with patients, families, community members, donors and volunteers.

Bergeron holds an associate degree in nursing from New Hampshire Technical Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University, where she is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association.
