Jim Culhane is President and CEO. He plans, organizes, and directs programs and services; evaluates results and recommends policies, procedures, and actions to achieve program goals. He provides key leadership in short- and long-range planning and participates in community health care program development, relationship building and networking within strategic plans and mutual visions.

Previously, Culhane served as President and CEO of Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice in New London. He has more than 25 years of healthcare and nonprofit leadership experience. Prior to joining Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice, Culhane served in a leadership role with The Elliot VNA from 2011-2015 and served in progressively higher management and director positions at Granite VNA from 2002-2011.

Culhane holds a holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire, a master’s degree in social work from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Active in the community and home health and hospice industry, he serves on the boards of the Rural Homecare Network; Community Nurse Connections – Upper Valley; and the Homecare, Hospice & Palliative Care Alliance of New Hampshire. He served on the board of the Foundation for Healthy Communities from 2018-2024.

Julie Stone, MSW, is Chief Strategy Officer. Stone is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and leading the agency’s community engagement team, consisting of business development, community health, communication and philanthropy programs, operations and initiatives.

She works in partnership with the Senior Management Team to support the agency’s strategic initiatives and operations. Stone also leads collaborative initiatives in partnership with those involved in community health, home health, and hospice programs throughout the agency.  She provides education to Granite VNA employees, board members and community partners about Granite VNA’s community benefit initiatives, services, and programs.

Stone brings nearly 20 years of experience in home health care and hospice services, and with organizations providing services for older adults and adults with disabilities. Prior to joining Granite VNA, she served as Director of Strategy, Innovation and Engagement for Home Health & Hospice Care in Merrimack.

Stone holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) with a concentration in public policy, nonprofit management and health management from the University of New Hampshire (UNH). She also serves on several boards of directors and committees, including Riverbend Community Mental Health, Hospice Help Foundation, New Hampshire Home Care, Hospice and Palliative Care Alliance, Nashua Public Health Executive Committee and others.

Sandra Jobe is Vice President of Human Resources. Jobe has over 20 years of experience driving workforce strategy, organizational transformation, and culture development across multi-state operations to the agency.

Jobe provides strategic and operational guidance to leadership, ensuring human resources programs support the agency’s workforce and its drive to provide well-rounded home health and hospice care and wellness services. In coordination with the leadership team, she will also oversee efforts to ensure the agency retains its excellent employees and continues to be an attractive option for prospective healthcare workers.

Prior to joining Granite VNA, Jobe held human resource positions at PPC Structurals, Inc. and Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., where she worked as the Area Human Resources Manager for over 13 years. Jobe earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Hartford.

Jobe was a member of the Manchester Area Human Resources Association from 2013-2018 and previously served as its Co-Chair. The association provides high quality programs of interest to human resource professionals, as well as an opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry. She has also been a member of Society for Human Resource Management since 2011.
