Hospice Home & Garden Tour Raises More Than $29,000 for Hospice Services

Granite VNA’s annual Hospice Home & Garden tour was a resounding success, raising more than $29,000 to support the agency’s hospice services. This year’s event featured tours of five beautiful homes in Wolfeboro and Tuftonboro, offering attendees a delightful experience.

More than 425 people spent a beautiful summer day touring the Lakes Region homes and properties, enjoying the homes’ architecture and décor along with stunning lake and mountain views.

The 2024 Hospice Home & Garden Tour was dedicated to the Granite VNA volunteers who have worked tirelessly to bring the iconic event to life for the past 34 years. Each year, a Wolfeboro-based steering committee identifies homeowners willing to support the cause by opening their homes to the public. They also work to enlist the help of other volunteers to act as docents in the homes and assist with parking the day of the tour.

“We are very grateful to the homeowners who kindly offered their homes for the tour, the volunteers who dedicated countless hours to its success and the hundreds of attendees who helped raise more than $29,000 for the agency’s hospice services,” said Barbara Lobdell, tour committee chair.

Planning for the 2025 Hospice Home & Garden Tour, currently set for Wednesday, July 9, is already underway. The planning committee seeks volunteers and Lakes Region homeowners who are willing to open their homes for the tour.
