Stronger Memory by Goodwin Living is designed to stimulate the brain’s prefrontal cortex, which governs our ability to retrieve memories. The program encourages you to spend just 20 to 30 minutes a day reading aloud, writing and quickly completing simple math problems. While most of the activities are done on your own each day, your facilitators invite you to check in weekly for twelve weeks. During these sessions we will discuss a topic related to brain health, talk about the program and your progress, and share your stories. The goal of Stronger Memory is to sustain the brain health of healthy, active adults – with or without a diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or dementia.
